Do I need an appointment?
Yes! We are by appointment only. Appointments must be booked online. Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept calls or walk-ins. We are a small, intimate shop and provide limited and highly customized consultations for the customer who is knowledgeable about our unique collection, price-point, and special order process.
Do you buy gently used dresses? No but see our consignment page on how to sell your gown and make extra cash.
Do you rent dresses? Yes but the minimum spend is $500. Learn more by visiting our page on Gown Rental.
What kind of dresses do you sell?
Our small, curated collection styles tend to be more romantic, soft, and vintage inspired. Some of our designers will include davincibridal.com, ladivine.com, jimsformalwear.com, and paulmorrell.com. We plan to add more designers in the future.
Do you have styles from Sophia Tolli? We do not have any new styles as shown on the Sophia Tolli website at this time.
My bridal party is out of state, how do they get measured for my wedding? We offer drop shipping directly to
all out of state customers. Simply email us their name, phone, email, styles, colors, and measurements and we can invoice them directly for payment online. Email us at info@luxebridalstudio.com
What dress sizes do you offer in gowns in-store? All of our dresses on the rack are samples. Due to the nature of our business we usually keep sizes that most women can try on. Our samples run small so we usually keep sizes up to size 18 to try on. Unfortunately, plus sizes over an 18 are extremely limited for try-on in store.
What is your price-point?
Our bridal gown dress prices average between $500 and $2500. Bridesmaids range from $150-250. Prom and Special Occasions are $300-$800. Tuxedo rentals range from $180-$300 and custom tuxedos start at $500.00. Custom bridal gowns start at $5000.000
How does the special order process/alterations work?
All of the dresses in our shop that you will be trying on are samples. Once you have selected a dress, we take your measurements and work with you in choosing the best size for you. We then order your specific dress and have it shipped to our shop.
Alterations are to be expected. We recommend alterations with our independent alterations specialist Wendy Smart. Book an alterations consultation with her online since she works off-site.
What sample sizes do you have in the shop?
We strive to carry sample sizes that will work for most brides, but samples rarely fit perfectly. We have our own arsenal of tricks and tools to help provide an idea of how the dress will look in your size. Most of our samples are between a size 4 and 18. Bridal gowns typically run about 2 sizes bigger than your normal size so our samples will fit most brides between size 2 and 14. We carry a few sample plus sizes to give the customer a feel for how it would fit. Plus size dresses Will need to be special ordered so please allow 16-20 weeks.
How long does it take to get my dress?
We carry Davinci Bridal which is home of the 1 week Delivery on select styles. Most other designers’ production times take anywhere between 8-12 weeks and in some cases longer depending on the dress manufacturer. We recommend allowing at least 16-20 weeks (4-5 months) in advance for alterations. We will help you find the best options for your wedding date, provide you with an estimated ship date, and keep you updated along the way.
Can I bring a big group?
Our little shop is designed to offer an intimate shopping experience, so it’s best to bring a small, supportive party. Because our space is limited, we wouldn’t recommend bringing more than 4-6 people. Our studio is not appropriate for small children under the age of 5 since it can distract from the overall dress fitting experience.
Do you offer refunds/exchanges? No. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on purchases made in store including the deposit once an item has been placed with the manufacturer.
However, we do value your business and it is our goal to make you happy. All orders placed online have guaranteed shipping. If your order does not arrive on time or as expected, simply email us in writing at info@luxebridalstudio.com to request a partial refund or exchange within 3 days of when the item is shipped or expected. All returned items must have a return tracking # for proof of shipment and must be unworn and accompanied by the original receipt with tags still attached in order to receive a partial refund or exchange for store credit. Customer is responsible for any return shipping fees in exchange for store credit or refund. All returned items must be returned and postmarked within 3 days from the date of shipment.
